The short answer is, I write MIDI music for the same reason any other composer does.  I want to hear it with my ears, not just

     with my auditory imagination.

     It sure can't be for love, nor money, because it results in neither, commensurately with the effort required.  It's actually a hobby.

     The 131 tunes on this website have used up over 1800 days of my life, and I'm talking here about whole days.  So what's the payoff?
